Assessment

Upon first arriving at our programs, each client receives an in-depth assessment during which the history of their intimacy issues or sexual addiction will be discussed. A roadmap for change will then be created.

A proper assessment is the key to any good health care program. All clients coming to Elements Behavioral Health programs receive a thorough one-on-one assessment with an experienced therapist to determine what the best path to healing is. Does the client have unresolved trauma? Is there a co-occurring addiction, such as compulsive overeating, gambling, or drug use? This is the time when all the associated psychological, relationship and family history are taken into consideration.

The assessment includes discussion of family history, general physical and mental health, other addictions, and family and social history, along with the immediate sexual concerns that brought the client to treatment.

From shame & pain to resilience & joy.

There's a better life beyond sex addiction & intimacy disorders. Specialized, gender-separate treatment in a ranch-style setting.

You are not alone. We can help.
