VirtualSx Will Unite Sex and Dating Experts to Explore Intimacy and Relationships in the Digital Age
Fuelled by the proliferation of problematic sexual behaviors recently dominating news and entertainment headlines, Southern California-based Elements Behavioral Health has announced an interactive panel discussion to address topics related to sex and intimacy in the digital age. VirtualSx will be held at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel (7000 Hollywood Blvd., 90028) on Thursday, October 20, 2011 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., and will draw some of today’s most notable sex addiction, online dating, and sexual health experts to provide insights into this often debated, misunderstood subject.
VirtualSx will explore how digital media and technology are affecting our views about sex and relationships, and will attempt to generate a sex-positive, neutral dialogue around questions such as:
•How has technology changed our attitudes about sex, intimacy and relationships?
•What is cheating and have the definitions of infidelity changed?
•What are the implications on youth and how they view healthy sexuality?
•Are sexually addictive behaviors increasing and is sex addiction real?
Elements Behavioral Health CEO, Dr. David Sack, will moderate the panel discussion. Panelists include: Robert Weiss, LCSW, CSAT-S (Sex Addiction expert); Noel Biderman (President, Avid Life Media, Inc., AshleyMadison.com); Amber Smith (Model, Reality TV Star: Sex Rehab with Dr. Drew); Nicholas Tana (Writer/Director, Sticky the movie); Nina Hartley (Adult Entertainer, Sex Educator); Dan Uliel (Founder, RemoteWebGuard); Jennifer Kelton (Founder & CEO, BadOnlineDates.com).
VirtualSx is an invite-only event geared toward media and healthcare industry decision makers. A portion of the event will be streamed live, and online participants will have the opportunity to tweet questions to the panelists using the #VirtualSx hashtag.
